BMX - FREE!
Suitable for small, medium and large kids (including dads who think they are kids!).
Head down past the Tahunanui beach on your way to the Airport, turn along Golf road, just by the Tahuna camp ground turn right and park outside the BMX course. Most days there are just a few wee kids whizzing around. Helmets are compulsory, of course, and you can go as slow or as fast as you like.
You don't necessarily need a BMX bike, a MTB will do, and you don't need to be Sarah Walker to be able to get round.
A great way to help your children learn really important bike handling skills and have confidence on their bike. Only 5mins from Nelson City and close to the beach, cafe's (so parents can grab a coffee and watch), airport and free parking.
